FasterTogetherClub ("we", "us", or "our") operates the FasterTogetherClub website, API, and desktop data collector (together, the "Service"), which let you record Forza Horizon 6 lap times and share them with friends. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Account information. When you register we collect your email address, a password (stored only in hashed form), and a gamertag (display name). You can change your gamertag and email in your account settings.
Gameplay and telemetry data. When you run our desktop collector while playing Forza Horizon 6, it captures the game's local telemetry output and uploads it to us when you complete a lap. This includes lap times, speeds, car and track identifiers, timestamps, and the raw per-lap telemetry stream (vehicle position, speed, inputs, and similar gameplay measurements emitted by the game). Telemetry describes in-game activity only; it does not include your screen, voice, chat, or anything outside the game's data-out feed.
Social data. Friend connections, friend requests, blocks, and invite codes you create or accept.
Technical and usage data. Like most online services, we automatically receive certain information when you use the Service, such as IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, timestamps, and server logs. We also issue access tokens to link the desktop collector to your account.
We use the information we collect to provide and operate the Service: creating and authenticating your account, storing and displaying your lap times, powering real-time lap feeds and friend features, sending transactional emails (such as account confirmation and password reset), preventing abuse and enforcing rate limits, diagnosing errors, understanding aggregate usage so we can improve the Service, and complying with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Visibility to other users. The Service is a social lap-time dashboard. Your gamertag and your lap results (lap times, speeds, car and track information, and when laps were set) are visible to other users of the Service, including in shared lap feeds. Your email address and raw telemetry files are never shown to other users.
Service providers. We share information with a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf to run the Service: hosting and infrastructure providers, a transactional email provider (to deliver account emails), an analytics provider (to understand site usage), and an error-tracking provider (to diagnose failures). These providers are bound to use the data only to provide their services to us.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, or where we believe in good faith it is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of users, the public, or the Service. If the Service is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify you of any such change.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, scoped access tokens for the desktop collector, and access controls on our infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
We retain your account information and lap data for as long as your account is active, since the historical record of laps is the core of the Service. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we will delete your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain limited records to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse. Server logs and diagnostic data are retained for short periods and then deleted or aggregated.
We use a session cookie that is essential to keep you logged in; the Service does not work without it. Our analytics provider may use cookies or similar techniques to measure site usage. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking the session cookie will prevent you from logging in.
You can view and update your email address, gamertag, and password in your account settings at any time. You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or ask us to delete your account and associated data by contacting us at support@fastertogether.club. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe. You can stop all telemetry collection at any time by closing or uninstalling the desktop collector.
The desktop collector reads telemetry that Forza Horizon 6 broadcasts locally on your machine using the game's built-in "Data Out" feature; we do not access your Xbox or Microsoft account, and the Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Microsoft, Playground Games, Turn 10 Studios, or the Forza franchise. The third-party providers described in Section 3 process data under their own security and privacy commitments; we choose providers with appropriate safeguards.
The Service is operated from the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States or in other locations where our service providers operate. If you use the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own.
The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@fastertogether.club.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will provide additional notice such as an email or an in-app announcement. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, the right to object to or restrict certain processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom may exercise rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, and California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA, by contacting us at support@fastertogether.club. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA, and we honor verified requests regardless of where you live.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, contact us at support@fastertogether.club.
